Councils and Committees are one of the best ways to get involved with other professionals in your area. Below are links to our individual councils and committees, as well as a little information about each, if you're interested in joining one, please fill out our interest survey located below! By letting us know you'd like more information, we'll be able to add you to specific council or committee email lists, for updates about meetings or special events that may be coming up! The Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) is the voice of women in the building industry — dedicated to promoting industry professionalism and supporting members at the local, state and national levels. Through education, professional development and networking opportunities, PWB helps members acquire and develop invaluable leadership and business management skills that boost career success.

The Builders and Remodelers Council consists of members who are involved in the remodeling industry. Council members enjoy a wide variety of benefits and resources, including exclusive professional development, industry-specific education, networking opportunities, leadership grants, and awards and recognition programs that help you strengthen and protect your business.

The BIA’s Builder and Developer Council serves as an information hub for housing creation in central Ohio by informing and discussing critical issues related to land development and construction throughout our region. Participants learn of policy impacts throughout the region and help shape and advise staff on the challenges and opportunities in residential construction throughout central Ohio.

The Young Professionals committee steers efforts to make membership more useful and attractive to home building professionals under 45. The committee provides leadership with guidance on mentoring, leadership training and education for emerging industry professionals.
