Columbus Glass Block & Clear Choice Window &Door is looking for a Sales
Representative (full time or part time) to sell home improvement products
(replacement windows, doors, siding and glass blocks) in the home. The ideal
candidate is an honest person with effective time management and follow up
skills, knows construction and how to sell in the home and work with consumers.
Previous sales or operational construction background a must. The position is
strictly in the Central Ohio market.
Principle Job Responsibilities Direct sales calls to
homeowners, real estate investors, home improvement contractors and builders in
Central Ohio from both company generated and self-generated leads (85% of the
leads are generated through company advertising and are pre-scheduled for our
sales reps). Measure projects, provide estimates and
write up sales orders. Plan, organize, and manage your
time effectively by having an organization system for follow up on unsold leads
and the routing of your daily schedule.
Expectations of Sales Position Close a high percentage
of company generated leads. Allocate time to continuously learn and become
a master of our products, the competition, and the craft of sales. This will
involve both self-learning and participation in company training programs.
Develop a firm understanding of the installation process and be able to explain
this process to homeowners and real-estate investors. Staff
consumer home and garden shows. Must be available for
sales calls between Monday – Friday (8 AM – 6 PM); Saturday (8 AM – Noon)
Compensation System We provide a competitive
compensation package (Expected full-time earnings in Year 1 should range from
$40,000 to $75,000), health care program, a vehicle reimbursement plan,
company-sponsored 401K plan, vacation, disability and life insurance plans, cell
phone, and company paid holidays.
