All members are encouraged to enter their chili recipe to be judged by a local chef or just come and see how many good cooks we actually have in our ranks.

The rules are simple:
All chili entries must be in a crock pot like container.

There will be two winners: a Judge's Choice and a Members' Choice.
Each winner will receive a gift card to a local establishment

So, dig out your family recipe and let's get cookin'
Feel free to bring copies of your recipe to share with your fellow members.

Don't worry, we'll have other food for those of you who don't like chili.

All members in attendance who have joined the BIA since September 2009 will be entered into a drawing for great prizes.

MAME Marketing Entries Due

April 7, 2010

Entries are now being accepted for the 23rd Annual MAME Awards.

Presented by the Sales & Marketing Council (SMC) of the Building Industry Association of Central Ohio, the MAME Awards were created to honor the top achievers in the new home industry. Sales and marketing award winners cross all BIA membership ranks and include Realtors, interior designers, architects, landscapers, suppliers, remodelers, builders and more! In an industry where marketing is becoming increasingly more important, this is the year to recognize the efforts everyone has put forth to make 2009 as successful as possible.

You may submit an entry for any award for which you have created the design or had the design created for your use. Many awards have been expanded to include the best entry by Builder/Remodeler, Realtor and Associate.

Deadlines

About the Notebooks

You can find the required entry materials for each category by downloading the Marketing Entry Instructions above. Each marketing entry must be submitted to the BIA in a three-ring binder. Please place each required item in a sheet protector, and put the sheets inside the binder.

The BIA will provide you with the empty notebooks if you prefer. Contact Linda Winrod to schedule a pick-up time for your notebook, (614) 818-1397.

You may also use your own notebooks. Please place the appropriate Cover Sheet in the sleeve on the front of your binder.

MAME Sales Entries Due

April 19, 2010

Entries are now being accepted for the 23rd Annual MAME Awards.

REALTOR SALES CITATION Sales citations are offered to Realtors who have sold new homes with a total volume beginning at the one million dollar level and increasing in million dollar increments thereafter. If applicant is a Realtor/Builder, at least 50 percent of the sales volume, units or dollar amount must be for a builder’s product other than the applicant’s own.

BUILDER SALES CITATIONS Sales citations are offered to Builder Sales Reps who have sold new homes with a total volume beginning at the one million dollar level and increasing in million dollar increments thereafter. These citations are grouped according to the number of company units built per year (as described below). When applying for a Builder Sales Citation, please circle the unit number category into which your company falls.
