Type of Job
The owners of this architecturally correct California bungalow, originally built in 1936, wanted to renovate their kitchen in an authentic way while also giving it modern conveniences.
Nicholson Builders added specific arts and crafts design details to draw out the historic charm and romance the homeowner desired. Existing walls were opened up to create a more dramatic view to the backyard and pool. The kitchen features include quarter sawn oak cabinetry with inset doors, unique leather finished granite countertops, all Ohio custom made tile backsplash, open wine/book storage and stainless steel appliances. Nicholson Builders created an open floorplan and upgraded the fireplaces, which were unique to the home.
Most Outstanding Feature
All-Ohio-made custom backsplash
