Young Professionals Outing

On June 12th the BIA’s Young Professionals all gathered at Bar Louie in Polaris for our second group outing. Around 60 Young Professionals from the industry came together for this event. Builders, developers, realtors, and other associate members have been forming this group.

These events are focused on networking and will likely always be in a social setting. This group is planning an educational event this year as well.  The hope is to host these events at different locations around the Columbus area. This group is open to all ages here at the BIA, so remember you are as young as you feel!

“As we continue to develop the Young Professionals committee, we strive to make everlasting connections between all sectors of the building industry,” said one of the Young Professional Leaders, Taylor Hoover with Diyanni Homes, “We envision this group to open the door, in many avenues, to all our partnered members.”

Hoover continued, “whether that is through job growth and development or supplying services to one another, we hope this group provides value to everyone in this incredible industry.”

The mission of the Building Industry’s Young Professionals Task Force is to increase involvement among young professionals in the Building Industry through career advancement, education and networking events.
