As development goes vertical, will neighborhoods be harmed?

Plans for a six-story hotel and a pair of three-story apartment buildings have made some German Village residents antsy.

The projects are both planned for Livingston Avenue, on the northern fringe of the neighborhood just south of Downtown. Concerned residents fear the buildings and their heights will change the neighborhood’s historic residential fabric and add too much traffic.
