Membership Categories & Fees
Membership Dues
Builders, remodelers, and companies working in the homebuilding industry in any capacity are eligible to join the Building Industry Association of Central Ohio.
The membership dues follow a calendar year. Your first year of membership will run from the approval date of your application by the BIA's Board of Trustees through the following 12 months. A one-time initiation fee of $60 must accompany your payment for your first year's dues. If you have any questions, please contact Linda Winrod at (614) 818-1397.
Builders, Developers & Remodelers
Includes single-family builders, multi-family builders, remodelers, general contractors and land developers. Compliance with the BIA Professional Standards and Code of Ethics is a condition of membership. Builders' dues are based upon gross dollar volume of sales for proceeding year:

Associates
Associate memberships are available to any individual who is engaged in, or employed by, a firm or corporation engaged in a trade, industry, or profession related to the building industry and does not qualify as a builder member.
Both builder and associate memberships may be held by one person, providing the person qualifies in each category and meets all obligations of membership.

** Affiliate Member - Additional individuals who are employed by a builder or associate member. Affiliate members enjoy the full rights and privileges of membership providing they meet all obligations of membership, but cannot serve on the Board of Trustees.
