BIA Announces 2007 Parade of Homes at Pinnacle in Grove City
Mayor Cheryl Grossman says Grove City is thrilled to host its first BIA Parade of Homes

“We are very excited to bring the BIA Parade of Homes to a new location,” said Jim Hilz, executive director of the BIA. “Grove City is a great community, and Pinnacle is a 600-acre beautiful master planned community with a large diversity of housing product – all within 10 minutes from downtown Columbus. Hilz said Pinnacle is in the heart of the area’s new growth corridor – just 10 minutes from downtown Grove City’s charming historic town center with old town neighborhoods, tree-lined streets, retail shops and cafes.
Joe Ciminello, Pinnacle Development Company of Grove City, developer of the Lanny Wadkins designed championship golf course, condo sites and the Parade of Homes estate lots, noted this may be the most truly “Central Ohio” BIA Parade of Homes the association has sponsored in many years with the proximity to metropolitan Columbus. M/I Homes also have a development stake in Pinnacle as the primary developer of the residential areas within the community.
Ciminello said the Parade lots overlook holes 6, 5 and 8 and the Grove City Creek (or Republican Run) meanders through holes 5 and 8. Eight of the lots back up to hole # 6. Ciminello said all of these estate lots have been planned for vistas and views from inside and outside the homes. He has estimated the Parade price points could reach $800,000+.
According to the developer’s master plan, Pinnacle has incorporated open green spaces with parks preserving the mature trees on lush gentle rolling hills and ravines with the site amenities of connecting walkways and bike paths, a signature championship golf course and a Community Center. The Community Center will open next month with a pool, fitness center and tennis courts. The Golf Club will be open to members this fall and the golf course in full operation by spring 07.
Ciminello said hosting the BIA Parade of Homes will offer people the opportunity to discover how great Pinnacle and Grove City are.
“I knew this site was a jewel the first time I saw it – great location, great topography, great schools and great people. And it has been one of the top selling communities in Central Ohio for the past several months,” said Ciminello. “This Parade of Homes will let people discover Pinnacle and Grove City as a great place to live – and it is less then 7 miles from downtown Columbus.”
And Grove City Mayor Cheryl Grossman is beaming.
“We are really excited to welcome the BIA Parade of Homes to Grove City. This is a very proud community that embraces the past and is looking forward to the future,” Grossman said. “Pinnacle is a once-in-lifetime opportunity – to assemble this pristine land, which lends itself to so many facets of a community – the beautiful golf course, the gorgeous ravines the stately 100-year old trees.”
Grossman said visitors to the 2007 BIA Parade of Homes will be amazed at what they see.
“We have an nationally award winning playground, all kinds of new development including retail, medical facilities a new seven-story hotel and a Town Center that visitors love – it is the beating heart of our city,” said Grossman. “Plus we have a strong sense of community second to none. We can’t wait for people to see what this community is about.”
