throughout the year as well as a multitude of sponsorship opportunities
for a variety of different events. If you have advertised through the

Builder Update
The BIA's monthly magazine, Builder Update, is mailed to
more than 1,300 builders, associates and opinion leaders in central
Ohio. You can reach these decision makers each month by promoting your
products or services in this industry publication. For information on

BIA Membership Directory
The BIA's annual Membership Directory is sent to every
BIA Builder and Associate member once a year. All new members are given

for BIA Events
The Columbus Dispatch prints several publications throughout the year
for BIA events. These publications include the
Parade of Homes Preview
Book, the
Parade of Homes Plan Book, the
Fall CondoQuest tabloid
and the
Spring CondoQuest tabloid.
These publications are inserted in the newspaper and, in many cases, are
also distributed at the events. BIA members who advertise in more than
one of these publications are entitled to discounted rates. For

Meetings

General Meetings
The BIA hosts a General Membership Meeting almost every
month of the year, excluding the summer months. This
educational series is sponsored by a generous group of BIA members known
as the Millennium Club. Without support from BIA members, the General

SMC Quarterly Luncheon Meetings
The BIA's Sales & Marketing Council (SMC) luncheon
meetings feature informational topics such as architectural trends and
provide the opportunity for attendees to take tours of locations such as

Cocktail Party at NAHB International
Builders' Show
At the beginning of each year, the National Association
of Home Builders (NAHB) holds its International Builders' Show in
different locations throughout the United States. The BIA of Central
Ohio hosts a Cocktail Party for members during the event. For

MAME Awards Gala
The MAME (Marketing And Merchandising Excellence) Awards
Gala is an annual black-tie event honoring the top achievers in new home

Networking Night
Networking Night is the only opportunity of the year for
BIA members to display their products and services in a trade show
atmosphere to hundreds of other BIA associate and builder members. For

New Home Expo
During the first quarter of the year, the BIA holds a New
Home Expo, which is geared toward consumers. Special guest
speakers address the steps involved with building a new home. BIA

Home Shows

|
Spring/Fall CondoQuest
CondoQuest is a scattered site event showcasing new
condominiums, townhouses, patio homes and cluster housing throughout
central Ohio. The BIA created CondoQuest in order to drive as much
traffic as possible to those members' sites featured in the event
through a collective marketing effort.
The event became so popular among
BIA members and consumers that the BIA decided to hold both a Spring and

Showcase of Remodeled Homes
The BIA Remodelors Council's Annual Showcase of Remodeled
Homes was designed to promote remodeling companies and increase their
business. This two-day scattered site tour features everything from
whole house renovations and additions to indoor and outdoor living areas
in the central Ohio area.

Parade of Homes
The BIA's Parade of Homes is the Association's largest
event. Since the Parade began in central Ohio in 1952, this event has
grown to become one of the most prestigious events offered by the BIA.
The Parade gives builders the opportunity to present their products to
the home-buying public in order to sell homes, display the latest
designs and technologies, and to promote the dream of homeownership.
Over 40,000 paid attendees typically visit the sixteen-day event each
year.
The Parade is an incredible opportunity to get your company name
in front of thousands of people in central Ohio and surrounding areas.

The BIA encourages all of its members to send newsworthy
events and happenings to be included in the Association publications.
The BIA's Blueprint newsletter, featured every Monday in The Daily
Reporter, has a section called "Member News." In addition, the BIA's
